Jonathan and I bought Blake a little pool for him to play in while at Grandma & Grandpa's house, equipped with slide and all! So we got it all ready, and being the expert first time parents that we are, filled it up with hose water. Needless to say he HATED it, because it was freezing cold. But we weren't going to give up on our investment so soon.... so we refilled the pool with warm water (what a spoiled kid!) and he still didn't want to get in. So my dad ("bumpa") decided to get in with him to show him it was ok, fully clothed I might add.
But he still wasn't too sure about it.
We pretty much tried everything.... and he just wasn't having it.
So after several failed attempts, we finally got him out.
Sorry Dad!!
The funny part was that as soon as my dad was dried off and changed Blake decided that the pool looked like fun after all.... he played in it all afternoon!

I think it's kids missions in life to prove their parents wrong. Or to make us eat our words! That's too cute though!

Of course! when you want them to do something they won't do it, and then you give up and the next time you turn around they are doing it over and over again!
I still cannot get eli to sit in a pool unless the water is heated. As soon as it reaches his waist he screams and wants to be picked up. Such a spoiled kid!!!
I am glad Blake finally decided it was fun! What cute pictures!
