we're all doing great, zac is such a sweet baby, we can't imagine our family without him!

fishing field trip

Blake's preschool class went to a fishing hole for their field trip a couple weeks ago.... the kids all had a blast!

 They learned all about the lifespan of fish....

 they got to feed the fish...

it looks kind of like dog food if you ask me, but the fish seemed to like it!

 luckily jonathan was able to go and help the boys bait the hook and catch the fish!

they gutted and cleaned the trout for us and we took them home.... they're now in the freezer, and i doubt i'm ever going to cook them! at least they had a good time, and can't wait to go fishing again!

this post is a little late, but i just have to say how proud i am of my big boy! he's been potty trained for over a month now and did such an amazing job! i don't know why i get so nervous about potty training because both my boys were SO easy! once he finally decided to try going on the potty (it HAD to be his idea of course.... stubborn much!?) he never turned back, and has only had one accident! i even tried putting pull ups on him at night, but he did NOT want to do that, and to his credit he's been dry every night! here's to being diaper free for a whole 2 months (i'll take what i can get)!

someone turned 30

unfortunately it was me.... i've been dreading this for some time now, really NOT looking forward to it, but surprisingly it wasn't so bad. i had an entire birthday week with parties, dinners, and amazing friends and family! although i still have a hard time typing 30 in for my age on the treadmill, i think i'll survive.

 this is the cake my parents got for me... i loved it!

 uhhh... but that's WAY too many candles!

i got an ipad for my birthday.... but i'm quickly realizing who's ipad it REALLY is!
